JacShirt I + Light Tweed
The Form is our original JacShirt, slightly fitted at the waist, with a classic collar and hand-carved horn buttons.
The Fiber is Light Tweed, one of our Heritage Wools. Like all of our Heritage Fabrics, the cloth used to make this garment is made entirely by hand: first woven together on a wooden loom, then hand-felted to bind the yarns. This process produces a fabric that is as beautiful as it is hard to find.
The end result is stitched together by artisan tailors employed in an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.
JacShirt I is available in all of our Heritage Wools: Light Tweed, Handwoven Herringbone, Heavy Tweed, Himalayan Tweed, Karnali Natural Tweed and Mugu Merino.
Handmade in Nepal.
