"Jackie" Pants in Handwoven Raw Silk (preorder)
Pre-Order only! March/April 2025 delivery. Preorders are a win-win: you’re guaranteed your garment for a discounted price and we’re able to raise some of the money required to finance next-year's inventory. We appreciate your support.
“Jackie” Pants made in Handwoven Raw Silk, a fabric that is patiently and meditatively woven together, thread by thread, on a wooden loom in Nepal.
These pants are the garment that started our company. Jacqueline started developing these pants when she was in pattern making school. She wanted something… unique. The fit is easy and comfortable because of the shirred elastic waist.
Raw Silk is as rare as it is beautiful. It’s wonderfully soft, thermally adaptive and resistant to essentially all pests. Raw Silk differs from refined silk (like that predominantly found in South-East Asia) because it is not refined through boiling which results in a less shiny and more organic look and feel.
Supplies are seasonal and very limited.
The garment is stitched by artisanal tailors employed by an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.
“Jackie” Pants are also available in Handwoven Linen and Featherwale Corduroy.
