Made to Measure JacShirt II + Mugu Merino
The Form is a restyling of our original JacShirt featuring bigger and broader shoulders, a wider chest and a band collar for a more relaxed fit… still with hand-carved horn buttons.
The Fiber is our Mugu Merino, a Heritage Wool. Like all of the fabrics in our Heritage Collection, the cloth used to make this garment is made entirely by hand on a traditional wooden loom. After weaving, our Mugu Merino is hand-felted to bind the yarns, producing a fabric that is sturdy enough for cold temperatures.
Our Mugu Merino is made with wool from Merino sheep that are reared in the remote Mugu region of Nepal, high in the Himalaya. This is our densest and softest Heritage Wool.
The end result is stitched together by artisan tailors employed in an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.
JacShirt II is available in all of our Heritage Wools: Light Tweed, Handwoven Herringbone, Heavy Tweed, Himalayan Tweed, Karnali Natural Tweed and Mugu Merino.

JacShirt II + Mugu Merino is also available in standard size Large. More sizes coming soon.
