"Henry" Shirt + Handwoven 100% Linen

$195.00

Our “Henry” Shirt made in Handwoven 100% Linen.

The form is a classic button-down with a band collar.

The fiber is 100% linen patiently and meditatively woven together, thread by thread, on a wooden loom in Nepal.

“Linen has a highly porous, cooling weave characterized by a slightly rough texture that softens from use. In an age of the wrinkle-free, no-iron, and the highly pressed, the beauty of linen is seen in its ability to corrugate, a mark of old school elegance” (Bruce Boyer).

The stitching is done by artisan tailors employed by an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.

The “Henry” Shirt is also available in our Handwoven 100% Raw Silk and our Handwoven Blend of Raw Silk and Cotton.
