"Ni" Top with 3/4 Length Sleeve in Handwoven Linen
Our “Ni” Top with ¾ Sleeve in Handwoven Linen is an original design. It is also available with a Cap Sleeve. This fabric is patiently and meditatively woven together thread by thread on a wooden loom in Nepal.
“Linen has a highly porous, cooling weave characterized by a slightly rough texture that softens from use. In an age of the wrinkle-free, no-iron, and the highly pressed, the beauty of linen is seen in its ability to corrugate, a mark of old school elegance” (Bruce Boyer).
The stitching is done by artisan tailors employed by an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.
Our “Ni” Top with ¾ Sleeve is also available in Handwoven Raw Silk.
We are working on sizing this garment. Currently it is only available in S/M.
