The Form is our original JacShirt, slightly fitted at the waist, with a classic collar and hand-carved horn buttons.
The Fiber is our Handwoven Herringbone, a Heritage Wool. Like all of the fabrics in our Heritage Collection, the cloth used to make this garment is made entirely by hand on a traditional wooden loom. Our Handwoven Herringbone is created by carefully arranging each individual yarn over the course of days so that when the weaver starts her work, they come together to achieve this beautiful patterning.
The end result is stitched together by artisan tailors employed in an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.
JacShirt I is available in all of our Heritage Wools: Light Tweed, Handwoven Herringbone, Heavy Tweed, Himalayan Tweed, Karnali Natural Tweed and Mugu Merino.
JacShirt I + Handwoven Herringbone is also available Made to Measure.
Made in Nepal.
